Martha Guzman is a marketing and communications strategist based in Southern California, with nearly 20 years of experience supporting arts and culture organizations.

She has held in-house roles at leading institutions including The Broad, the Music Center’s Gloria Molina Grand Park, and the Museum of Latin American Art. Martha has planned and executed marketing and communications initiatives for museum exhibitions, performing arts programs, cultural festivals, and both large-scale and community-based events. She also brings experience building partnerships with community-based nonprofits and municipal agencies.

In July 2025, Martha was appointed to the PBS SoCal Community Advisory Board, where she advises on programming and outreach to ensure the station reflects the voices and needs of Southern California communities. She previously served in an advisory committee on a statewide research initiative by The James Irvine Foundation to help arts organizations deepen engagement with Latino audiences.

She is the founder of Martha Guzman Communications where she continues to support arts, culture, and mission-driven organizations in building effective strategies that are rooted in community, creativity, and clarity.

Martha holds a BA in journalism, an MA in English literature, and a certificate in nonprofit management. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and speaks conversational French.
